Yawn. Feeling a bit tired tonight. We’ve had a rather big day.
Today is Sienna’s birthday.
HAPPY BIRTHDAY, SIENNA!!!!

Now she’s 2 years old! We had fish & chips for lunch and Bec made a lovely cake. It tasted delicious!
I went into the pantry and pulled out the 2 litre bottle of vinegar and poured some on my fish and chips. It smelled weird. I turned the bottle around to find it was a bottle of DISINFECTANT!!! YUK! All over my fish & chips!
We got her an electronic toy bus which teaches the alphabet — the Alphabet Tap Tap Bus.

She loves it.
On Wednesday last week I caught a JetStar plane to Sydney at 11:20am. Blake took the 8:55am Virgin Blue plane.
I got off the plane and caught the train to Central. I grabbed some Oporto for lunch then caught the Light Rail to Scott’s.
That night, we went to Hoyts La Premiere at Chatswood. I gave the Ticket booth girl my voucher from Wishlist and she gave us tickets to Mr & Mrs Smith. We went up the escalator to the Cinemas and walked into La Premiere. It was 6pm when we got the tickets and the movie was on at 6pm, but she assured us it was only currently playing advertisements. We gave the tickets to the girl in La Prem and she told us we had standard movie tickets! We caught the escalator back down to the Ticket booth and told the girl how she’d stuffed up. She had to call her manager and while waiting for him had to serve other people. Finally she gave us our tickets, but we changed it to the 6:45pm show instead. We went up to La Premiere and decided to have a chat until the movie started. They come to you and let you know when it’s on.
We grabbed our free glasses of house red wine and a box of popcorn each and a cup of tea each and sat down to talk.
With La Premiere, you get the free wine and unlimited popcorn, unlimited tea & coffee and unlimited bar mix for coke, etc.
It wasn’t too long before they came to tell us the movie was going to begin so we grabbed armfulls of food and drink and headed upstairs to our special screening. There was only about eight people in the cinema with us, so they told us just to sit wherever we wanted to.
We grabbed seats up the middle back and settled in to watch. While the ads were going again, I popped back downstairs for more popcorn and coke for us. They have very comfortable large seats with tons of legroom as well. Definitely well worth it.
Mr & Mrs Smith was a fantastic show. We both enjoyed it very much and will buy the DVD as soon as it comes out.
We didn’t feel much like eating once we got out, having had so much popcorn at the movies, so we just headed home and watched Team America.
On Thursday, I woke at about 11:30am and made some bacon and eggs for myself and Scott, then we went for a walk into Glebe and I picked up some more antibiotics and Scott dropped off a package for Robin. Next, we looked around for something for a light snack and drink. We stopped at a cafe (I have a photo somewhere in my phone I will have to upload) and had a coffee each. It was damn nice and the atmosphere was great. It was just a little rustic old coffee shop, but everyone was very friendly and they brought us glasses of water and a jug of water to drink while we waited for our coffees.
After that, we headed back to Scott’s place and watched some TV and mucked about on his PC.
I spent hours upon hours trying to rid his PC of the dreaded Aurora “A Better Internet” adware. It’s a tricky little bugger in that it automatically respawn processes, registry entries and files as soon as you remove them. I couldn’t even trick it, so in the end had to use the Aurora uninstaller from MyPCTuneUp.com (iirc) to get the darn thing off his PC.
Friday I woke about 11am (not so late hehe) and we didn’t do a lot all day, mostly the same website viewing and watching TV. There was a show on pyrotechnics and fireworks which I quite enjoyed.
That evening we headed to Broadway to meet up with some of my friends: Trejkaz & Vulpine, Tomcat & Swany, Striker and some guy.
We had dinner at Mama’s Kitchen. I had some nice Ribs. After that, Tomcat & Swany headed home and we went across the road to the pub to have a chat. We only stayed until about 10:30pm and headed off home again.
Scott wanted me to check out a show called The Profiler, which I had not seen before. It was a pretty good show. A bit like Monk, but not so anal retentive.
Saturday I woke about 10am (ish) and packed up to get ready to fly home. They had a series of episodes from Family Guy so I watched a couple until midday when it was time for me to leave. I caught the Light Rail back to Central then the Airlink out to the Domestic terminal. I checked in then grabbed a coffee and waited for my flight. I didn’t have too long to wait then it was off soaring above Sydney on my way home again.
I had a fantastic time catching up with everyone. It was good to talk to them all again.
The plane landed 5 minutes early, but Bec’s car had a battery that had gone Open Circuit so she had to wait for RACQ to come and give her a new battery. I only had to wait about 20 minutes at the airport for her. We headed up to Robina to get Sienna’s present and some streamers and stuff then picked up some Red Rooster on the way home.
