Oh what fun we’ve had emoticon

Lisa was in Tweed, so I drove down and picked her up Saturday afternoon. She stayed overnight and I took her and the kids to Pac Fair for the day. We went to Intensity arcade parlour and played games there then traded the tickets in for some crappy nice toys for the kids. We had some lunch there then headed home. I dropped Lisa off at the airport that night and she had a windy flight back home to Sydney. It was great catching up with her and something that needs to be done more often.

Chris and Jo arrived Monday evening and Blake and I picked up some pizzas that evening and brought them home to munch on. Chris and Jo arrived about 15 minutes afterwards and quickly heated up their pizza a bit and had their garlic bread too.  I got out some sparklers from the cupboard which had been sitting there for some months and we lit them and went out the back yard in the dark to play with them. Blake thought it was a fantastic idea and a great way to celebrate Chris’ birthday.

Yesterday, Chris, Jo and I went to Seaworld and had a great day out. It was overcast so not a lot of people were around. We saw the "Quest for the golden seal" show and the 4d environmental show. The kids in the audience kept trying to reach up and grab the 3d animals and were ducking when a snake came out to get them and a monkey was throwing apples at their head. We had some fun rides and got a bit wet on the Bermuda Triangle ride, altho Chris loved the volcano as it had fire belching out and helped warm him up. It didn’t rain at all that day. We were heading home when we walked past the skiing show. We ummed and ah’ed about going to it and finally decided to give it a go, which was a good thing when I saw the eye candy there. Two girls were dressed in cheerleader costumes and dancing and jumping around. So it was all worth it after all. I think there was some ski jumping going on as well but I didn’t notice that much at all.

We’re going to have a BBQ tonight for Chris and Jo’s last night here. I bought some meat on the way home from Seaworld yesterday and a ton of bacon which was only $7/kg. I love bacon. emoticon

Blake had an ‘off’ day at school, so the less said about that the better. Suffice to say he was home at 1:30pm instead of 3pm… emoticon

Sienna has been running around unclothed for much of every day. Today (as you saw in a previous comment) she was getting into everything. Tipping a whole jar of coffee onto the lounge and floor, climbing onto the bench to eat all the newly cooked muffins, climbing onto another bench in order to push her way through a window and jump out. God knows what would have happened when she landed on the concrete outside. Bec only just saw her as Sienna was putting one foot out through the screen. Whew!
