My sleep apnoea has returned with avengeance.
I’ve been waking up all week feeling as tho I’ve had 2 hours sleep or less each night. Try sleeping every night with a peg over your nose so you cannot breathe. That’s how I feel every morning.
I’ve put in an order to get a new mask and tubing for my CPAP breathing machine which I should be picking up on Monday some time.
I’ve just been to the doctor today and was referred to have a CT scan on my sinuses and some blood tests so I came back home again. I did go into the office for about an hour first as I had some stuff to do, but once that was over I headed straight to the doctor.
Hopefully they will find something about my allergies which I can fix. I’m also wondering if I’m allergic to the cat. I’d hate to get rid of him so let’s hope it’s something else. The kids love Symbian.
It looked like we had Jasmine vines growing in our front garden. As I’m allergic to Jasmine I also wondered if that was causing problems, so this afternoon I ripped it all out and chucked it in the garbage bin. I got the whipper snipper going and started it up then went down the front garden to chop it up…… and found out I had run out of string line in it, so there went that idea. I then just grabbed my el cheapo garden spade and whacked the fuck outta the vine roots with the side of it. Probably nearly broke the spade but it did the job and I loaded the stuff into the bin then went and had a big shower with lots of scrubbing to make sure I got rid of all the Jasmine off my skin.
I’ve been on Claratyne during the day and a friend (hi Joopie!) said to try Phenergen. I went to the chemist and asked for some strong antihistamines and said I’d appreciate it if they knocked me out as well so he suggested Phenergen. I had one last night and one the night before but it didn’t help at all.
We don’t have much planned for this weekend. Blake arrives on Monday and I didn’t get around to organising with my manager for time off so Bec might have to pick him up by herself.
Sienna has been asleep for the last hour and a half. I think she really needed the rest. She was overexcited to see me home early and had almost gone to sleep but woke up and came running to meet me at the door.
