And now for the news. Bec noticed Sienna had red splotches on her cheeks like a rash and so I suggested she go to the chemist and see what they think.
The chemist said "She has German Measles"! Poor kid. They said there’s nothing you can do except give her Panadol if she’s feeling hot or upset and just let her ride it out. Apparently the rash appears on the second or third day of having GM so she probably got it on Saturday when Bec took her shopping and she ran around with some other kids.
She’s had flu and stuff before, but nothing like this so I guess it can be called her first illness of this type.
Bec picked up Blake from the airport today. The hostesses said he was very well behaved, so that’s good. It seems like he had a good trip. He goes back to school on next Monday.
