I went to the doctor this morning to find out about my blood and CT scan tests.
I said I was told the results would take 48 hours but I had not been notified. They said "We don’t ring you when they come in. You have to ring us and find out when they have arrived then book another appointment". *Sigh*
So I sat there for 45 minutes until the one doctor working today was available.
He said my sinuses weren’t closed too much, so that was good. I told him they mostly close up at night.
He checked my blood test for allergies and it said the only thing I’m a little allergic to is house dust mites. Not wheat or milk or cat dander or any of that stuff.
So, at least we get to keep the cat which I guess is a good thing. At least Bec and the kids will be happy about that.
He did prescribe me a cortosone nasal spray which I will have to pick up from the chemist tomorrow. He said it will take about a week to really take effect but since I’d not had it before it should work quite well. I might take it tomorrow night a couple of hours before bedtime to give it time to start working. I’d prefer it to be most effective during nights as that’s when I have the most trouble breathing. At least during the day I can breathe through my mouth and blow my nose when it’s blocked.
