
The A1200 is still under development. But a leak to the press from Motorola people, we have already known some of the specs and features. For the specs, the A1200 will be equipped with a 2 megapixel camera and just weighs 95 grams! It has a big 2.4” 240×320 pixels QVGA TFT screen and 8MB built-in memory. The storage space can be further upgraded by using the T-flash memory up to 512MB.
The A1200 comes with a lot of business critical fearures, such as business card scanning function, supports POP3, IMAP4, SMTP e-mail protocol. Not to mention, you can also browse and edit Word, Excel, Power point files. When it comes to multimedia, the A1200 is one of the best with more than 10 types of file format supported, Real Player, MP3, MP4, AAC+ etc. With its Bluethooth stereo headset, it is the entertainment center on your hand. The battery capacity is 850 mAh. This is enough for 270-480 min talktime and 190-210 standby time.

Does it run Linux yet? That would be the main thing they could improve… bringing a Linux-based phone to Australia.

Seems the new Palms do. Treo 650 and LifeDrive. I think Treo 650 even can dualboot.
