The eastern states orf Australia has been having a pretty fucked up time of trying to get access to many international sites over this weekend.
The problem lies in a core router in the Singapore Internet Exchange that is dropping packets more frequently than the visiting South African cricket team is dropping catches. The router is owned by SingTel, so you can hurl abuse their way.
I have NFI when the problem will be fixed, but it’s been going for 34 hours now (and still counting)…
It could explain the issues we’ve been having over the last few days.
