Today we all have the flu so are taking a break from driving all around Brisbane looking for places for them to live.  We all have blocked noses and stuffy heads. Rebecca has three applications for places in at the moment, so hopefully that will give her a good chance and they will ring her to say she has got the one she really wants.

Yesterday I applied for a new Bank account. In December I bought the Money Magazine’s “Best of the Best 2005″ magazine. It lists the best accounts to get and BankWest had one of the best Transaction Accounts and two of the best credit cards so I signed up for their Lite Direct account. It’s only $2.99 per month! Sweet! I also signed up for their BankWest Zero credit card. Zero interest for 4 months then 12.99% PA, Zero annual fee, free depositing of foreign cheques (now to find all those small cheques from PalmGear.com for my Quirl game — NAB charges $8 per cheque so payments of US$4.99 leave me with no money).

Oh yea. One of the things the Clairvoyant said the other day was in a past life I was an Arab.. living in a tent.. wearing white clothes and telling fortunes (probably for a living I think). I’ve been told before that in my last life I was a sailor who drowned at sea.

Also, I went to the QBD bookshop to find the book by Florence Scovel Shinn which the clairvoyant recommended to me. There was only one copy there (fate?) so I bought it and have been reading it and taking notes. It really is a great book. Very uplifting and full of ideas and suggestions. I think I’ll buy a copy for my mum. She’s always down and could do with something like this to help her out.

You sure the Clairvoyant didn’t say you were a West Aussie in your past life?
