Yesterday afternoon I picked up Sienna from Rebecca’s new unit and came back home. We had some chicken nuggets and chips for dinner and watched some Family Guy on the TV. She wasn’t keen on going to sleep and by 10:30 I was so tired I went to bed. It took a while to find my mobile though as I had left it in the car. When I looked at it, I saw about 8 messages from a friend in Sydney who will be staying with me a few days in later February. I rang him up and talked for about an hour. EEK! Didn’t mean to talk that long on the mobile, but it was good to catch up with a friend I hadn’t really talked to in years. Sienna finally fell asleep on the bed listening to me gabber on. I think she woke between 5 and 7. I heard her pottering around the house a lot but kept falling back asleep again and didn’t get up until 7:15 when she’d had enough of being on her own.
Today we watched some more TV shows and then she wanted to go out for a drive in the car so I took her to the local Aquatic centre and stayed there for about an hour. She absolutely loved it! We are sure she’s a Gemini but she seems more like a Pisces like dad 
They have a big plastic frog in the kiddy pool (I MEAN BIG!) and she goes up the steps on his back then slides down his tongue and into the pool. She did that heaps of times and followed the kids round and round the frog slide.
We came back home again and I put on some fish and chips for lunch. I added the pasta+vegetables+cheese mix to our plates but she doesn’t seem keen on it and only ate the fish and chips. No matter. So long as she’s happy. She had a couple of packets of chips and also broke the child lock off the fridge and ate about half a packet of ham!!! Talk about garbage guts!
I settled down to watch a movie (I have had a real bad gutache and was sick on Friday morning) and eventually she fell asleep on the couch next to me.
I’ve signed up for the iiNet Netphone which is a VOIP phone service. Unfortunately I haven’t managed to get it working properly yet, using either X-Lite or SJPhone. I don’t know if the firewall is not forwarding packets properly or the NAT is playing up or what.
My internet was very dodgy this morning. It kept connecting and disconnecting often. It seems a bit more stable at the moment though.
