Not happy to just leave the world alone, the Big Slob now wants to haunt =
you computer.
A few people at work received emails about a conspiracy regarding SM’s =
demise. After a quick read I advised them not to click on the link in the =
email as it no doubt took you to a website ready to infect your PC with a =
virus.
A couple of hours later the company sent an email to all users not to open =
the email nor click on the link in the email as it would install a virus =
or trojan on their PC.
Me, I would have blocked it at the mail server with a specifically crafted =
filter as well.
The lesson is to not open emails from people you don’t know. You wouldn’t =
let unknown people into your house, would you? No. So take the same caution =
with emails.
This sort of thing happens all the time whenever a well known person dies. =
I remember the conspiracy emails sent after that Princess Di-ed. They were =
trojans as well.
