I got this in an email yesterday:

Hi Jason,
I have been talking to telstra in regards to pair gain and upgrades to broadband in your area.. The district manager would like to know your home phone number if that is ok.. That way she can follow up the system that is current and if there are any changes in the future

I apologise in the delay in responding to your very important issue, hopefull we can have a good outcome.
Hope to hear from you soon.

Well.. it’s some news anyway. At least I know they haven’t forgotten me. This was an email from a Federal MP.
