I went and saw Clerks 2 last night at the cinema.
I’d give it two stars. It was OK but not brilliant. Basically, it’s Clerks but with a few different people and trying to be more vulgar and offensive.
There were some good laughs to be had from time to time but if you want some real good laughs, go back to Jay & Silent Bob strikes back.
I think my preference goes: J&SBSB, Dogma, Mallrats, Clerks, Chasing Amy then Clerks 2.
I can see why that reviewer walked out, though. The Kinky Kelly show looks like it was supposed to be a hilariously funny mistake, but didn’t come off that way quite as well as it could. Bring back the ‘Berzerker’ guy… he was funny
