Poker didn’t go as well this time. I tried some ideas from my Phil Hellmuth book. He said to just play if you have a pair or fold. If you are keen, try AKs or AQs (s = suited). I never once got any of those so my chips were getting eaten away with blinds. In the end I tried AJ but someone kept calling and got a straight on the river. D’oh! At least I lasted past half time but only had about $400 left and blinds were $200/$400 after the break.
I picked up Sienna last night and once I got home remembered we didn’t have any nappies, so headed out to Coles. I figured while I was there I’d pick up some other groceries and get the shopping out of the way. Sienna has been coughing for the last week, but seemed ok until about halfway through when she was crying and complaining of a sore ear. I rushed through the rest and got home and got her into bed but she kept waking up and crying with her sore ear. First thing this morning we went to the doctor and found she has an ear infection so she now has antibiotics (for about the 6th time this year) and ear drops. I picked up some Panadol too. When we came out of the doctor’s there was a puppet show on at the shops so we watched that then Sienna wanted some food, so directed me upstairs to the food court. We had some nice Asian food and then came home. I gave her the medicine and shortly afterwards she was asleep. In the meantime, I’m doing laundry, dishes and have been on the online poker at UltimateBet.com
I’m just about to go out and put the last clothes on the line. I hope she stays asleep for a while longer. A couple of hours would be good since she missed so much sleep. I might have to drop her off a bit early tomorrow as the lawn really really needs mowing and I don’t want to leave her alone inside while I’m mowing.
