I picked up Sienna late Friday night as I was stuck fixing laptops until 5pm then had to take the hire car back and finally catch a train home. By this time the ferry was stopped so drove around.
I bought some Red Rooster from the shop on the way but Sienna had had Sizzler for lunch so had filled up to overflowing. She had a couple chips I think and put the rest in the fridge for… umm… breakfast *g*
We got up Saturday morning and went swimming.. well she did. She got a ribbon with “Super Swimmer” on it for floating on her back on her own. They hold onto her then just her hands and finally let go so she is doing it by herself. I was SOOO proud! She says it means she is SuperGirl now hehe How cute! I pinned it on her wearable towel and bought the usual sausage on bread for her after swim breakfast.
We went to the shops and after that to the park and played there for about half an hour or so. After that we headed home for a bath. The bath gets soooo black from our feet since the park is full of sawdust and dirt.
I dropped her off around 6pm and headed into the city to stay with friends, have dinner and go out dancing at a club there in the city. We had some drinks and drove into the city and danced until about 2am then came home, chatted for an hour and crashed in bed.
Sunday evening I got out the mower and did the front lawn. Unfortunately, that’s all that will fit in my green wheely bin so will have to do the back yard after garbage pickup day, Thursday morning.
Tomorrow I have the day off due to a Home Inspection. Tonight I’ll have to get busy packing away stuff and vacuuming, etc If I get motivated I might even finish off a LibriVox recording I started the other night. Last night I went for another jog through the bush so was too stuffed to do any recordings and just watched some X-Files.
