Had a great night out at The Troubadour in the Valley. I got there about 9:30pm and went in. I was ‘on the door’ so got in free as a guest of one of the bands..
We saw “Tycho Brahe” and after that “Crystalline Effect”. Tycho are a Brisbane band and CE are from Sydney. They flew up just for this gig, so that was way cool. I’ve added them on my MySpace friends list.
I swear Ken is singing “Jam in a circle” and not “Ten minutes ago”. I put a note to that effect on his MySpace comments heheh. With a photo!
TB sang a couple of songs I haven’t heard from them before. I have some which I sync to my iPod in the mornings (among all the other bands) so it was nice hearing some new stuff. I was hoping for the George Bush song “Military Option”. I like that one. Well, to tell the truth I like a lot of their songs, even ones about Jam or Tempura Circles.
The show finished up around Midnight so we all headed off home. I got home about 12:40am and into bed by 12:47am. Whew! Woke at 6:30am when the builders next door started unloading equipment off their trucks.
