I finally got WordPress installed on my Geocaching blog, so if you haven’t been there in a while, you may want to head on over and check it out. I did a quick look for a theme for it but the one I am using looks quite good anyway.
We got up and did the swimming thing this morning. Then I washed the tiled floors in the bathrooms, hallway and kitchen so all looking good and so much grit gone!
Mum is in hospital at the moment. I will have to ring her again this afternoon some time.
I had a surprise this week when I received an email from my sister. We don’t keep in contact much. She was replying to the email I sent with a photo of Sienna and I in the local newspaper a few weeks ago. I replied and she replied back. My cousin found me on MySpace too, so we can keep in touch that way since I keep losing his email address.
Not a lot planned for this weekend. The Ipswich Show is on this weekend but due to some bad planning I don’t have much liquid cash left and show rides, etc don’t tend to take credit cards. Oh well.. we shall have a nice time anyway.
Yesterday while at work I had to fix (attempt to fix) a laptop at a bank branch. While there they were looking for people to get quotes on home contents insurance and car insurance. Since my contents insurance renewal period is coming up I went in and had mine done. It will be a bit cheaper so I will compare with my current cover which is with RACQ. Since I got a free quote they also threw in a $20 Coles-Myer gift voucher, a bag like those green ones you get at Coles but black with the bank’s logo on it (which bank? Hmm dunno
) and a plastic car, house and drink bottle. I gave most of them to Sienna (except for the voucher. That’s a present for Jason!). She loved them “Tank you daddy for my surprise presents!!!” So damn cute you could dunk her in your coffee.
I’ve actually been mucking around with making tunes with Reaper (for a change). I put together a quick demo just while learning how things work. It stuffs up after the first 35 seconds or so (I only composed about 50 seconds anyway) as I didn’t finish it off nor set it up to keep going properly. It was getting late and I’m still learning, so that’s my excuse. If you really are interested in listening to the thing, check out the Testing1.mp3 file. I did another less well-written tune but it’s not even worth uploading. Just something to practice with.
Anyhoo. I best get back to researching RSVP for babes. Gotta be one there somewhere for me, right?
PS : Happy Birthday again, Stace! *HUGS*
