A quote from Dave Hughes in SMH:
Dave first made the remark during a comedy routine at this year’s Logies Awards and Kyle has since promised to punch the ha-ha man in the throat, even if it means going to jail.
The statement is so Dave, we have to print it word for word. It reads:
“Mr Dave Hughes has issued a public apology to Mr Kyle Sandilands, who has made comments in the past days in reference to remarks made by Mr Hughes at the 2007 TV Week Logie Awards.
“Mr Hughes said : ‘I am sincerely and deeply sorry that Kyle Sandilands is a massive dickhead.’
“Mr Hughes hopes that this sincere and unreserved apology will put this ugliness to rest and stop Mr Sandilands from going to jail.
“Mr Hughes further remarked: ‘No one deserves to go to jail just for being a massive dickhead. Massive dickheads have the same rights as normal people.’

Kyle is a dickhead. Someone on Zgeek posted what Crikey had on their webpage from Helen Razer..pretty good article really..pretty much summed things up.
Apparently Kyle is moving to LA to be with his “popstar” girlfriend and will continue to do radio work from there..
I still remember his verbal threats to Sydney band Frenzel Rhom (Zgeek have the link) but this was a classic!!…it just showed how much of tool Kyle is…threatening people…
I also remember listening to Merick and Rosso one morning and someone on their staff was hypnotised and they put the suggestion to the person that Merrick was “Kyle”, first word which came out of the guys mouth was “tool”. Needless to say Merrick and Rosso were in tears as it was just too good..
Anyways, thats my rant…back to the study!!

Why doesn’t Dave bring up the fact that Sandilands is actually gay… I mean he’s living with his ‘girlfriend’ (business/moneymaker) & his ‘best friend’ (real partner) who happens to be a male… I mean c’mon - it’s not normal to live with your fiance and best friend when you can afford to live by yourselves.
