Last night I picked up a GameBoy Colour for Sienna from some FreeCyclers. She will be so happy!

The only thing it needs is a battery cover, so if anyone has any knowledge of where I could get one, please let me know.. if not I will check the local GameTraders.

Yesterday I got a phone call from Sienna’s school. She had been climbing on the ladder on the school playground equipment and fell off, whacking her forehead on the concrete or something and had a huge egg-sized lump on her head.  They said she seems okay and didn’t cry much (such a trooper!) but it’d be good if she went to the doctor anyway for a check up.  Bec took her there (after phoning 3 doctor’s surgeries and finding them all booked out for the day) and one had a quick look in between patients and said she is fine, but to give her Panadol and have her sit quietly for the rest of the day.  I hope she’s okay. I did get some MMS photos from Bec’s mobile sent with Sienna holding onto a frog she found in the garden and she looked quite happy, so that’s a good thing

Yesterday Sienna and I picked up a new coffee table from a FreeCycle person about half an hour’s drive south of home.

It’s in very good condition and only needed a wipe over with a cloth. We stopped at the local shops and picked up some bread and Sienna had a small ice cream sundae.

Today we are going to near Morningside to pick up a monitor for me. Mine is only 17″ and this looks like a 19″er.
