History
While growing up, I was first trained at the local radio station “2BOB FM Radio“. I was about 16 years old. With a friend, we announced on several shows including:
Midnight-To-Dawn, The Request show, School’s out, Lunchbox and any other shows where people failed to turn up.
Some shows we did together while others were solo. After that, my friend’s uncle became manager of the “Great Lakes FM radio” station. We each did some shows there for a while. I later trained in Newcastle on the Hospital Radio Network (HRN) with an announcer from ABC FM Radio. Many years later, I completed a Voiceover course in North Sydney.

These days I can be heard volunteering my vocal talent for LibriVox.org. LibriVox is a place where amateur (and some professional) people may record songs, poems, stories, etc which are in the Public Domain and upload them for inclusion in the LibriVox catalogue. These recordings are made available for download and also for subscribing to via a PodCast. The recordings are fantastic for sight-impaired people or even anyone who is much too busy to read a book. They can just download a story and listen to it in the car or on a bus on the way to work.
